Jeff Nisbet happily lives in Franklin, Massachusetts with his wife, Kayla, and their three kids. As a 15-year high school art teacher, his motivation for making artwork has evolved over the years, most recently focusing on using drawing and painting to deliberately slow down in this ever-accelerating world. Working both outside and in the studio, Nisbet’s goal is to practice patience and careful, quiet observation using the natural environment as his subject. When not teaching in a classroom full of young artists, Jeff works on commissions for drawings and paintings of special locations and/or natural still lifes.
