Meditation Series

This new body of work, Meditation Series, serves as a meditational practice with the ultimate goal to inspire viewers to practice stillness. In today’s ever-shifting world, particularly in the fraught news reels of geopolitics, the apocalypse that is AI , and pervasive social media, this body of work is intended to promote calmness in an otherwise sea of turbulence. The viewer is encouraged to disconnect and spend time with the work, even for just a moment. Inspired by a myriad of sources, such as Zen Buddhist koans, Josef Albers Impossibles, Mark Rothko’s color field pursuits, and Thich Nhat Hanh’s book on Silence, this work exists to instill a quiet respite that is much needed at this time.
