Meditation Series

This new body of work, Meditation Series, serves as a meditative practice with the ultimate goal of inspiring viewers to practice stillness. In today’s ever-shifting world, particularly in the fraught news reels of geopolitics, the apocalypse that is AI, and pervasive social media, this body of work is intended to promote calm amid an otherwise turbulent sea. The viewer is encouraged to disconnect and spend time with the work, even for just a moment. Inspired by a myriad of sources, including Zen Buddhist koans, Josef Albers’ Impossibles, Mark Rothko’s color field paintings, and Thich Nhat Hanh’s book on Silence, this work offers a much-needed quiet respite.
